Motocross madness

On the weekend we took the go-kart to the go-kart track which is really a bit of a track cut out of the bush on the outskirts of town. I took my faithful Motorbike that keeps on going. While the boys were driving around with their go-kart. I was following on my bike. Making out I was the most specky bike rider ever doing a whole 2 Mph. I was getting faster and faster when suddenly I managed to do a slide around a corner. Wow that was fun and I didn't even fall off. I was getting quite a big head when I noticed, that David had spun out so I thought that I would just power over to him.

David riding his Go-Kart with a little engine. It had a trottle stopp on it so that they could only go 10km/hr.

Next thing I knew I was eating dust. Bruce thought that there had been an earthquake
"Oh no it not just a beached whale" I jumped up as if nothing had happened. Making out that it's OK, actually my leg really hurt from being grazed along the ground.

After Bruce had stopped laughing he helped me up Now I am really stiff and sore. I had the scare for years because like most sores up here they get infected easily and I ended on having to go on antibiotics to get rid of the infection. Bruce made my 100cc Motor bike from a 80cc frame which means that it is really close to the ground so that I could touch the ground which I often have trouble with normally. The bike cost us 10 cents to fix a hole in the petrol tank the rest of the bike was constructed out of wrecks that the Aboriginals have dumped because the couldn't fix them. Well it was a was wonderfully made bike which was held together with tape.

We would go all go down to the dump which has a bit of a track with some steep hills. James and David on their bikes, Bruce on his and me. I had only been going around on the bits that were flat but I had started to try and jump some small hills until Bruce decided that it was time to teach me how to go over these two steep hills which were in the middle of the dump where they had scooped out the ground to make the holes in which they threw all the trash
Bruce stood at the bottom of the middle of section and told me to be in second gear and when I get to the bottom of the first hill open the throttle as much as I could and I'll make it up the second hill ( that was the steepest) easily. I went to the turning spot, revved up the bike, and revved up the bike and revved up the bike, trying to psyche myself up. If I don't do it soon I'll run out of petrol .

Off I went but instead of waiting until I got to the bottom I revved up took off the first hill into the air almost crashing went I came to the bottom. I remembered hearing screaming. It was me screaming at the top of my voice as I was launching into outer space. Then I heard laughing, that was Bruce. I froze up so I didn't let go of the throttle, so up I went straight up the second hill. Screaming all the way! I took off into the air off the top of the second hill still screaming

Finally I stopped at the top section of the hill which is lucky because there is a drop off the other side of over 20 meters. I collapsed at the - finally laughing as I realized what I looked like with this frozen look of terror upon my face, eyes popping out of my head and mouth open, screaming of it's own accord.
Bruce was by this time laughing so hard he was rolling around on the ground hysterically laughing. Then he had finally got himself under control he told me to do it again only this time not to be so radical. "OK" I said although I didn't really want to experience that much rush of adrenaline but I guess it is like riding a horse if you don't try immediately after you will never give another go so off I went once again and this time I made it but it was weeks until I tried it again.
