John Boulger:

Six time State and twice Australian champion, Captian of Australian test team. John also won the inaugural Jimmy Gavrons memorial during the 70/71 season from the backmark handicap of 200 yards.

Aged 30 (in 1975) and married with a young son. John began riding solos in 66/67 season after a go in scrambles.
